Eat, Play & Win at Dave & Busters {Addison, IL – Review}

Last week my family and headed to a hidden gem entertainment center called Dave & Busters in Addison, IL.  I say hidden gem because I feel like not enough people know about it.  We have been there a few times now both with our kids and as a date night, it is always a fun place!  Dave & Buster’s is a giant arcade and restaurant.  It is right off the highway so not far.  It may seem like arcades are just for kids but it seriously is amazing in there.  From classic arcade games to basketball and racing games to so much more.  Like I said, I have been there alone for a date night with my husband and I have been there with my kids (ages 6, 5 and 2.)

Right now they have a great promotion called “The Eat, Play, Win Combo.”  Starting at only $16.99, consumers can choose an entree and get a $10 Power Card and 100 tickets!  The Power Card is the way you play games, its a prepaid card you load and instead of putting quarters in the machine you swipe your card to play.  The best part though is no coupon is required!  Its already on the menu and easy to order!  I say easy because I am terrible at remembering to print out coupons so I love when places have specials already on the menu!

How is the food?  Its awesome!  I know other entertainment centers usually are either fun or have good fun, but Dave & Busters have both.  You do pay a few more dollars for the food with the Eat, Play, Win Combo but with the bonus of the Power Card and tickets you really don’t need to spend any additional money!  My husband and I both got a meal on the Combo and so we had plenty of money and tickets to get us started – and no we didn’t need to spend any additional money either!  Wednesday is also half-price games night so that helped too!

What location of Dave & Busters did we visit?  We love the Dave & Busters in Addison, IL.  The staff is amazingly friendly and the location is always clean and maintained.  I say maintained because that is another complaint I have with entertainment centers.  Sometimes they are dirty and the games are broken, but Dave & Busters is neither.  Honestly we didn’t have any problems with the games and there was constantly workers checking the games and maintaining them.  Another similar game center we visited had more than half the games broken and of course that was after we spent all this money on a play card!  It was a waste!
