Recipe: Garlic Baked Shrimp

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. shrimp, deveined and peeled – I used frozen shrimp I thawed because that was all I had
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced – I used minced garlic
  • 3 Tbsp. wine – I used Moscato, again that was what I had
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 2 Tbsp. parsley, dried or fresh
  • Half of a lemon squeezed

Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 425.
  • In a bowl, combine shrimp, garlic, and wine.  Mix together and pour into a baking dish.  Season with salt and pepper if you’d like.
  • In another bowl, use a spoon and mix melted butter, bread crumbs and parsley.  Pour mixture over shrimp.
  • Bake until shrimp is pink and solid, about 15 minutes.

Notes:

  • I recommend pulling off the shrimp tails first as I didn’t and it was a pain to eat.  Still good, just a pain to pull them off and eat.
  • I used regular bread crumbs, but Panko bread crumbs might be thicker and crunchier.
