So this past weekend my family and I participated in a Twitter Pizza Party.  Now unlike traditional Twitter parties, this one was different because it featured a bunch of us Fox Home Entertainment Insiders all having a party with our own families in our own homes, but all tweeting at the same time.  Its basically like watching a movie with a bunch of friends and sharing our thoughts online at the time!  I have never seen anything like it and obviously never participated in one before so we were excited.

We watched the movie, had some Pizza Hut pizza and even colored.  My kids from ages 2 to 7 all liked the movie, and I admit us adults liked it as well!  Why did we have pizza?  Well pizza is actually an idea from the Free Birds movie, but I don’t want to give it away if you haven’t seen the movie.  The movie is fast paced but easy enough for kids to get the idea of what is happening – my boys asked if we can have pizza at our next Thanksgiving.  I didn’t think it was pushing the message for families to not eat turkey in real life, just saying there are options!  Super cute and kid friendly animation.

So how did we like the movie?  My family like the movie so much, we actually watched it twice in a row.  The movie is shorter than I expected, but then again it is just a cartoon.  It is about 1.5 hours long, and it goes fast.  I will say it did make me want Thanksgiving dinner!
