Four Peas – “Cool Bags for Cool Kids!” {Review}

I remember when I was younger I loved going backpack shopping or having anything with my name on it, which was especially hard since my name is not common.  Back then there really wasn’t the Internet to order personalized items and stores were obviously limited over what they could carry on hand.  Well now there are lots of choices for kids and personalization is not a problem anymore.  Four Peas is one site that I recently came across that uses the slogan “COOL BAGS FOR COOL KIDS!”  They have been manufacturing and delivering their exclusive bags and backpacks for kids since 2003, with their brand being recognized for quality and its unique designs.  Oh and their bags are CPSIA compliant.  From backpacks to lunch bags to messenger bags and supply bags, the only problem parents may find is narrowing down just which style to get!

I got the chance to check out a few products for my kids and honestly they all rock.  I will say I absolutely love the unique designs, they are ones that you won’t find on every other kid at school and the quality will last the whole school year!  I definitely learned my lesson about cheap backpacks and lunch bags as I have already replaced both of those and its only been half a school year so far!

Heavy Metal School Backpack

This backpack is one that can last through 8th grade.  It is a bag that is a good size for all those books and a lunch bag.  The exact size is 16 inches tall, 13 inches wide, and 7.5 inches deep.  The straps are padded and adjustable, and there are a few pockets to hold essentials.  It is definitely not a cheap feeling backpack nor is it one that I feel is going to fall apart within the school year, which has happened already.  I like the thickness, padding, design and size of this backpack.  My son is loves it!

Biker Lunch Bag

This lunch bag has a super cool design, which is what my 5 year old says, and its a basic lunch bag.  The size is 7.5 inches long by 7.5 inches wide by 3.5 inches deep.  It is insulated to keep things hot or cold, with an easy to clean interior.  At the price of just $18 (plus personalization) I feel it is a good price for a cool lunch tote for kids and I love the simplicity of it.

Pink Whale Duffle Bag

This is probably my favorite Four Peas item, mainly because it is just so stinking cute for a little girl!  I never got to have a personalized duffle bag when I was little, actually I remember having to use my mom’s tote bag when I went to sleepovers – this bag is going to be awesome for my Olivia as she grows.   The material is durable nylon and I see it lasting many years.    It is adjustable and a good size of 20 inches long by 10 inches wide by 10 inches tall.

Overall, I am impressed with Four Peas.  The prices are affordable, especially when you consider they are products that should last for your kids.  Then for just $10 you can personalize the products with embroidery for an extra special touch for your kids, not to mention hopefully marking the item so it can be returned to your child if lost!  I figure its much better to buy a quality product that is going to last, and be unique, rather than a disposable product over and over again.
