Recipe: Easy Slow Cooker Mongolian Beef

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. stew meat
  • 2 tsp. olive oil
  • 1 onion,, diced or sliced however you’d like
  • 1 tbsp. minced garlic
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. fresh minced ginger
  • 1/2 cup hoisin sauce (I used Garlic Hoisin I found in the Asian aisle of our grocery store)

Obviously if you like more of something, than add more of it!

Directions:

  • Mix everything into the crockpot and cook on low for 6-8 hours.

I served with rice and broccoli.  You could also pour all this in a freezer bag and freeze it!  Just thaw overnight when you want to cook it.
