Celebrating Easter with Hershey’s Candies! {Review} #BunnyTrail

Disclosure:  I recevied product from Hershey’s and a stipend from Global Influence in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.

Honestly when I think of holidays, I think of the candies associated with them.  Like candy corn for halloween, those candy hearts with words on them for Valentines Day, candy canes for Christmas and for Easter I think of chocolate.  When I think of chocolate, I think of Hershey’s!  Well Hershey’s makes more than just chocolate and they are good for more than just eating!  Who knew?  Whether you are looking to make up an Easter basket, pick up some candy to snack on for yourself, or you want to get crafty with extra candy you may have on hand, Hershey’s has a website with some great ideas!  Celebrate with Hershey’s has recipes, crafts and basically all things Hershey!

So first off I am not a creative person who can come up with ideas on her own.  Follow directions, no problem, but come up with something from scratch, I draw a blank.  I received a huge assortment of Hershey’s candies that I was trying to think of something fun and creative to come up with!

Hershey’s has some super cute ideas that would be fun to do with kids such as a birdhouse with Hershey’s kisses, Jolly Rancher jelly bean Easter egg mosaic or a Hershey’s foil egg wreath!

Now I did think of some cute ideas, but they were already crafted so I decided to do something so simple anyone can do! Since I always seem to have Hershey’s kisses on hand and my kids love Rice Krispie treats, I figured I’d make Rice Krispie treats, cookie cut them into a bunny (or any shape you want), and stick a Hershey’s kiss for a bunny tale!  Its a little chocolate so its not too sweet and easily removed if someone doesn’t want them (pass them over here!)  My kids were so excited for these!  I was thinking of using some Jolly Rancher Jelly Beans as decoration on the bunny but I realized my kids had already gotten into and eaten the whole bag!  It is so fun though to “dress up” foods you are already going to make using some Hershey’s candies.  Why not make Easter a little sweeter!

Just push a Hershey’s kiss upside down into the treat:

BUY IT:  Look for an assortment of Hershey’s candies to celebrate Easter at your local retailers and check out Celebrate with Hershey’s for ideas!
