Our Impromptu Disney Side Celebration #DisneySide

Disclosure:  I received a product package in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.

Ever since my first trip to Disney World about 20 years ago now, I have been hooked.  There really is something magical about Disney World and the brand Disney in general.  So when I was offered a chance to host a Disney Side Celebration to show off our family’s Disney Side I was thrilled!  Then we all got sick and our friends who were going to come to our Celebration got sick and then we all got sick again!  So while I didn’t get a chance to host the Disney party that I initially imagined, we still had a great time!

To show off your Disney side you could go all out and crazy with all things Disney or it could something as simple as having some friends over for a snack during a playtime break.  We celebrate Disney everyday pretty much since we live and breath the Disney channel and movies so it was only fitting that we watched Frozen during our Disney Celebration!

In the background though while the kids were doing the shirts I had the Disney Vacation DVD playing:

Our party was simple with snacks, coloring and Disney trivia but all the kids had a blast and it was even better because I surprised them with this impromptu party!

Ignore the face on my 7 year old, he is starting to not like pictures taken of him!

Not my 5 year old though, he’s a ham for the camera!

Disney Trivia – even I had to think about some of these!

Disney Bingo – what a genius idea and something you can easily re-create at home!

What a great idea though:  hand out white Hanes t-shirts, lay down some fabric markers and let kids make their own t-shirts!

I think he was going for The Nightmare Before Christmas:

For the parents to check out, I had no clue that American Tourister was the official luggage of Walt Disney World Resort!

I was even able to send everyone home with their own goodies to remember and continue the fun at their own homes.

I took a bunch of pictures too but of course our printer ink was out and the pictures were not printing right, but I will definitely be printing out pictures to send to our guests to share the memories.

So remember that you can share your own Disney magic everyday at home and not just when visiting Disney World.  Disney spreads magic no matter where you are and at least for us it never gets old!
