Dear Olivia,
I am writing this letter to you just a few months shy of your third birthday thinking about how much of a little lady you have already become. Seeing you grow has been different than your brothers probably because I can relate more to what you are doing and I know what issues you’ll face in the future. I want you to always believe you can do anything (of course only if its safe) and realize that I want only the best for you. I may be harder on you at times but that is because girls do have it harder in life and I want you prepared.
I see so much of me in you from the stubbornness to the attitude to your silliness. I hope we always have a relationship and even though I know you may go through the “I hate you” phase, I hope it passes quickly. I hope you come to me when a boy breaks your heart and I hope we can go on mother/daughter trips together. I see you growing as such a strong, confident little woman and I only hope I can guide you in the right direction. You really do complete our family of five.
Love,
Your mom
So this is a letter I have written to my daughter and its not everything I wanted to say but it is a start. I wish I would have written one sooner and I am think gin I may write them to her regularly. I also want to write them to my sons so they know how I feel and want for them at this stage of their lives.
Pampers is a brand I’d say pretty much all moms (at least here in the U.S.) know and they created a partnership with Feeding America. For every view, Pampers will donate 1 diaper (up to 1 million diapers.) It is said that “When a baby is born, a Mother is born.” I truly believe that. Even though we all know the duties of being a mother and needs of a baby, boy can it be overwhelming and something definitely changes inside us woman.
