HABA Doll Shona With Travel Suitcase {Review}

I will say Germans know how to make adorable dolls, well specifically HABA toymakers do.  Recently I got the chance to check out the New HABA Doll Shona with Travel Suitcase and its adorable.

Bon Voyage with Doll Shona! Take her wherever you may go. To Paris and beyond! This set includes an 8″ plush doll that is washable at 30 degrees Celsius/ 86 degrees Fahrenheit as well as a suitcase made of sturdy cardboard. Inside the suitcase contains a place where Shona can get ready for her adventures, including a dresser and a real cupboard for storing her extra shirt. The case closes and includes a metal handle for easy storing and transporting.

So first off Doll Shona is a plush doll that is eight inches, which honestly surprised me when I saw her.  She is a perfect size for little hands to hold and play with.

She comes with a sturdy cardboard trunk to carry her in and it acts as a playset.  The trunk has a metal handle to carry it but no latch to close it.

The trunk inside has a closet that holds the extra outfit she comes with.  I do wish though there was a drawer or hanger, it feels weird to just throw it in the closet and close the doors.

Overall, the Doll Shona is an adorable set just under $40.  I do like that you get the doll, carrying case playset and outfit.  There are a few things I’d change (option to buy additional clothes, latch to keep trunk shut for starters) I think its a good doll to start off with.  I think the doll is good for any age, but the box would be better for ages 3 and up because a younger child would be to rough with it.  The doll’s dress is velcro which is nice since its easy then for kids to put on and take off.  She does seem to be high quality as well and has the cutest hair, its like t-shirt material.  I’d recommend her for any little girl!
