Keep Kids Safe With Stop-It Driveway Net {Review}

Disclosure:  I received this product to review in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.

Our current house is awesome but the one thing that is tough is there are no sidewalks and my kids are constantly running into the street.  My boys are not so bad anymore but my 2 year old daughter still haven’t grasped the concept of cars stopping.  I think she thinks cars will stop when they see her, she doesn’t understand that cars may not see her or may not be paying attention.  With texting and just all the craziness going on in cars today, it can be scary to have kids outside near the road.  When my boys were younger I remember thinking I was going to make my own net to mount at the end of the driveway to remind the kids to stop.

Well now there is a product to not only remind kids to stay in the driveway but also catch balls that may roll towards the street!  Stop It! is a fully retractable net that fits most driveways and does not require any installation.  All you have to do is push it into the ground and roll it out across your driveway staking it into the other end.  Super simple!

When your down just roll it up and store it in the included bag.  I suppose you could leave it out if your not using your driveway but we put it away and just put it out when the kids are playing outside.  My husband loves that it is not a permanent fixture and that I can install it myself.  It is only about 2 feet tall (20 feet wide) but it is enough to stop balls from rolling into street and reminds my kids to stop themselves, yes I know they could go around it or even climb over it but it has been helpful.  My daughter is learning to stop now and look for cars and I don’t have to run each time the ball goes towards the street.  We are fortunate that our street is not a major street but still there are cars that speed down it or don’t pay attention.  Stop It! has truly been helpful for us and because its portable its something I even see us bringing to the grandparent’s houses while the kids are playing over there.

  • My son is terrible about trying to escape so he can explore the world. Unfortunately, our driveway leads right into an alley that people like to speed down.

  • My daughter likes to ride her tricycle in the driveway so this would help to set a physical boundary for her

  • I'd love to have this for my kids to keep all their balls and toys from rolling down to the street

  • This would help keep the ball and the dog from getting out of the driveway. Very neat. It would stop my 3 year old grandson from running out on the road too!

  • this would keep the soccer ball in the yard and the kids from running in the street after it. peace of mind!
