One place my family tends to go a lot is Medieval Times and honestly I have yet to get sick of it. The show follows the same format but each time we see the show a different knight seems to win and its exciting to watch the sword fighting. Yes, they have sword fighting. Basically Medieval Times is a dinner and a show all for the price of one. You get assigned a knight you will cheer for and the whole show is pretty exciting from start to finish.
Once the show starts, your server comes and immediately starts bringing your drinks and food. You start off with soup and garlic bread, then a huge piece of chicken, barbecued spare rib, potato and you end with a dessert. Oh and did I mention you don’t get any silverware!
Since seeing is probably better than me describing, here are pictures from our Medieval Times experience:
Overall we had a great time. My boys, 6 and 7, love the excitement of the tournaments and then the sword fighting. Our knight ending up winning which was extra exciting, especially for my kids as our knight looked like he might not win at first. The whole show though was packed with action from sword fighting to knight challenges to a bird soaring around the arena. The show can be pricey for a family, but there are always coupons or specials out there if you look for them! When you think about it that you get dinner and a show, it is reasonable. If you can’t go just because, it does make for an extra special birthday dinner!
BUY IT: You can purchase tickets for Medieval Times for $59.95 for an adult and $35.95 for children 12 and under. Don’t forget to check for coupons though!
