So how do you enter to win?

• First, download the free Blippar mobile app on your smart phone or tablet.

• Then, scan the back of a specially marked Skylanders Frito-Lay Classic Mix and Flavor 20-count variety packs, including the image of packaging to enter for a chance to win the Fire Bone Hot Dog figure and scan a Skylanders character on the Frito-Lay in-store display for a chance to win a Skylanders Game Truck party at your home.

• The Game Truck party sweepstakes ends August 15 and the Fire Bone sweepstakes ends September 5.

I don’t know about you but I am excited to check out these promotions while snacking on my favorite Frito-Lay snacks and a chance to win some great prizes is a bonus! I haven’t told my kids yet as they will drive me crazy until I have a chance to pick up the Frito-Lay variety pack! I love that each year a new Skylanders® game comes out, Frito-Lay finds out a fun way to partner with Activision so both brands win. In my house snacking and video games go together like peanut butter and jelly, so the partnership makes sense. I have been playing around too with the Blippar app and I can see it really making Skylanders fun!
