Who Needs an Ice Cream Truck When You Can Stop at Walgreens? #IceCreamRun

For whatever reason an ice cream truck only comes down our block 1-2 times a month when its warm out.  Strange as there are so many kids in my neighborhood, but hey I am not complaining.  Don’t get me wrong, I have fond memories of chasing down the ice cream truck when I was a kid but as a mom now its expensive and yeah chasing may be involved.  Well thanks to Walgreens, it is easy to stock up on fun treats for my family to satisfy all the ice cream cravings.  I love that it is easy to pop in and out of Walgreens when buying ice cream, rather than going to a big grocery store where the ice cream is always in the back of the store.  No more melting ice cream when I shop at Walgreens either because that always seems to happen when I buy it at the grocery store (thanks lady with a million coupons in front of me.)

Walgreens carries lots of Unilever brand ice cream treats including Magnum, Breyers, Klondike, Frutare, and Popsicle that are perfect for an ice cream night with your family.  It’s funny though as I never think to buy food at Walgreens but its so convenient and affordable.  Kids are happy to have ice cream and I’m happy for the convenience.

The other day I headed over to my local Walgreens to pick up a few school supply items and decided to surprise the kids by buying some ice cream treats.  Everyone was happy and it was a lot  better than waiting for the ice cream truck.
