KidzLane Kids Baseball Pitching Machine {Review}

Disclosure:  I received this product to review in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.

My boys want to play baseball all the time but unfortunately there is only one of me to go around.  The KidzLane Kids Baseball Pitching Machine is great because they can play and practice by themselves or just without me.  They are not very good pitchers to each other so this is a great product to help them practice hitting without having someone good at pitching to them.

If you have a youngster interested in baseball and is excited to build their skills, our automatic baseball pitcher is the perfect solution. This versatile and fun sports product can hold up to 9 balls and includes five soft practice balls. It is adjustable to three different heights, making it perfect for kids of all ages. Its eight-second pitching rotation allows for repeat efforts to build skill memory.

First off I will say make sure you have the four “D” batteries on hand, because I didn’t and we had to run out.  The set comes with five soft practice balls (no need to worry about broken windows) but it can hold up to nine balls.  I didn’t see anything about ordering additional balls but maybe if you have similar sized ones already you could try those.  It is adjustable to three different heights so no matter how tall or short your child is they should be able to get a good angle.  The balls come out every eight seconds which I think is a good amount of time, not too short and not too long.

What I like is that the product is small enough to store and lightweight.  The bat is pretty awesome too with how it collapses so its half its size.  My boys spent a good few hours playing with this set the day we got it and have played with it almost daily since then.  As far as how well it works, we had a few issues but overall it worked great.  Not sure if we didn’t have it level enough or what the deal was but the balls kept getting stuck so my kids would have to tap the ball and it would shoot out.  Not a big deal as long as there was two of them out there, but obviously not good if they wanted to practice alone.  I also wish there was a way to store the balls inside it for storage so they don’t roll out.

Overall, the concept is great we just had a few quirks when we used it.  I have seen automatic pitcher sets go way up in price and you do get what you pay for, so for the price of less than $50 to be a little quirky that is fine with me.

BUY IT:  You can buy the Kids Baseball Pitching Machine for $44.99 currently on Amazon.
