Remote Controlled Heli Beast from Silverlit {Review}

My boys have always been fascinated by remote controlled toys.  From cars to trucks to animals, we have owned a bunch of remote controlled toys.  They have been asking for a helicopter recently but since they are young I need it to be affordable because honestly I don’t trust them with an expensive one.

Well the Heli Beast from Silverlit is the perfect solution.  At just $39.99 it is an affordable helicopter that is still fun.  It features a 2 channel radio control remote with just a few simple buttons to follow.  The remote does require batteries that are not included, but what’s great is you can charge the helicopter right from the remote.  I love that I don’t need to put batteries in both products.  We were able to charge our Heli Beast perfectly this way.

What makes the Heli Beast different than just a remote controlled helicopter is that he is also half beast.  He has four legs that allow him to actually walk on the ground.  I was not able to test out this theory unfortunately as my son accidentally pulled one of his legs off when removing him from the packaging.  I highly recommend opening it up and setting it up for your child as they really do pack toys pretty good nowadays in their packaging.  I do wish the product was a little sturdier but for the price of just $40 I was happy for whatever use my kids could get out of it.  I think this is a good remote control starter helicopter for kids.

We were able to fly our Heli Beast though which made my son happy.  Its not the most durable and it does have a mind of its own but for the price its a good starter helicopter.
