iLuv SYRENPRO Outdoor Bluetooth Speaker {Review}

Here in Chicago we live outside as much as we can, since we only get so many days of good weather here!  An outdoor speaker system is a must for my household.  From kids music while we are playing in the backyard to adult music when we are relaxing out there after the kids go to bed, music sounds so much better from better speakers than our smartphones.

The iLuv SyrenPro Outdoor Bluetooth Speaker is a speaker that is both weather resistant and bluetooth enabled, plus it has a unique design for superior acoustics.

It is a perfect portable speaker that you won’t have to worry about if it starts raining!  It features UV and splash resistant coating to protect it from the elements.  The best feature is that you can use it either by plugging it into an electrical outlet or charging the speaker via its rechargeable battery.  The battery can last up to four hours of playtime so you can take your music on the go!

Hows the sound?

It sounds awesome!  Its crazy how this small speaker can be so powerful but it is.  Its not that small, but its not like the old huge black speakers I used to have.  The sound is crystal clear and really does sound amazing even though its streaming.  I know with other speakers I have had issues where the connection didn’t come out as clear but the sound on the SyrenPro is crystal clear.

And what about the setup?

I paired it with both an iPad and my Samsung Android phone with no problems.  Yeah for Bluetooth technology.  It took no time at all and music was playing.  I think my favorite feature though is that it is portable.  It is easy to grab this speaker and use it in my basement, garage, toy room or backyard.  Its just a few pounds and it is easy to grab and carry.  All I need is the speaker, plug and then my phone (or whatever I am streaming off of.)  I have used this for music only so far but with the True Wireless Stereo function this would be great to pair with another SyrenPro to make a sound system in your house.  Super easy surround sound!  It is equipped with jAura® sound enhancement technology to provide a perfect balance of high, middle and low range frequencies and it has a 3” co-axial speaker that delivers powerful, high fidelity sound capable of filling rooms and outdoor areas.

Oh and as long as you have had your SyrenPro plugged in, it actually charged it so you can use sans wires for up to four hours!  This is seriously an awesome feature because usually only the super small speakers hold a charge to be able to use them anywhere but this speaker can!  So you can even grab this and bring it with you to the park or wherever without have to worry about an outlet.

While it is weather resistant, I wouldn’t leave it outside year round but I like that if it gets some rain drops on it or splashes from the pool it should be okay still.  I like that its not fragile where a drop of water is going to damage it, being able to withstand “life” is a true test of a good product!  For the price of less than $100 I think its a good value and a speaker that is going to last wherever I need it to.  I also haven’t had a problem with it not being loud enough, which is exactly what I want from a speaker!
