We have been going to the circus every year and it has yet to disappoint me. My kids ask throughout the year, when are we going to the circus next? What I love about the circus is there is always the classic acts such as trapeze, animals, clowns, motorcycle riders and more but each show features a spin on the acts. The performers are constantly testing the limits and amazing the audience. This show, Legends, is focused on mythical creatures and my kids loved seeing the different animals come out, even my oldest who knew they were regular animals in disguise.
For even more fun at the circus you can even arrive 1 hour ahead of time and experience circus fun and acts right from the main floor. There are costumes to try on, animals performing, performers, and more. My daughter especially was amazed at being so close to the performers and acts. Best part of all, its free with your ticket!
No matter your age or your child’s age there is surely something from the circus that you enjoy. I think everyone should experience the circus at least once and honestly I love going every year. The circus is something that my family looks forward to and we are always amazed at how they change up the show each year.
Since pictures are better than words, here are pictures from our show experience:

I am a senior and I went to the circus as a little girl in Iowa. That is the first time I saw exotic animals up close and it was amazing. When and if it comes to MN I will want to take the granddaughters for the thrill. Hopefully these circuses no longer abuse their animals. I am against that.
Hey Cher,
I enjoy reading your posts, but circus events that use animals break my heart. I can only imagine the torture that these animals go through. If circus events is your thing, check out Cirque Du Soleil - they've proved that they don't need to use animals to wow the crowd. :)
Thanks for letting me know I will check out Cirque Du Soleil.
