Learning Resources Gears! Gears! Gears!® Build & Bloom Building Set {Review}

The Build & Bloom Building Set contains 116 pieces from various colored gears to flowers, stems, butterflies, bees and more.  There are base pieces that the gears snap onto and the flower stems then you can move the gears around to watch them all move.  My boys had something similar to this when they were younger and loved it, its funny how such a simple toy can encourage so much fun.  When my daughter first opened it, she said for an hour and played with it. That was a huge chunk of time for her to play with a toy.  Since then this set has become a daily fixture in our family room. After putting it away a few times and my daughter asking for it again I decided to just leave it out!

Even my 6 year old son started playing with it and building with it.  The set really does have a lot of pieces that a few kids could play with it at one and have plenty to do.  I love when toys have enough pieces for kids to share otherwise there tends to be fighting with kids with want this piece or that piece.  The gears are all super bright and colorful too, it is nearly impossible for a kid to not want to play with them!
