Recently I got the chance to check out the Zoomer Dino from Spin Master and he has been a hit with my kids. While Zoomer Dino is awesome, his price tag of $100 may scare some parents away or maybe your looking for a more “girly” toy. So Spin Master created Zoomer Zuppies, which are personal puppies designed for girls (or boys really) that have their own styles and personality and most importantly they are affordable. I say they are designed for girls because of their styles and colors, but I also think it is just fine for boys to play with pink toys and vice versa!
So like I said, Zoomer Zuppies are the puppy version of the popular Zoomer, from last year. They are interactive puppies that have sensors on their chest that all your child to play games with their new puppy, sensors on their head for petting and games as well, poseable back legs which are also on rollers, and they have LED matrix eyes links with phototransistors to track movement! They are pretty sophisticated puppies!
To set them up you do need to add 3 AAA batteries but thats it. There is no remote to control them, just push them around yourself or tap the buttons/sensors on them for games. My 3 year old loves her new puppy Scarlet. There are actually four puppies in total in the Zuppies family.
The puppies, or should I say zuppies, are amazing little animals. My daughter pushes her puppy around the house, taps all her buttons and thinks she is so silly. She is simple to play with, but I’d say an older child would be required for the games to figure out how to play them. They are recommend for ages 5 and up but kids as young as 3 can definitely enjoy them as well. I like to think too that Zuppies are a lot cheaper and easier to manage then a real puppy! They are super cute and a fun gift for any kid!
