Do you Know Where your Beans Come From? #MindtheBean #ColombiaCoffee @CafedColombiaWW @cafedecolombia

Disclosure: I received the package below to review in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.

For almost a century now, Colombia has been the origin behind the finest beans in the world, recognized for its consistent quality and aroma. Colombian coffee has been loved by generations and continues to do so, with thousands of Colombian growers dedicating their whole lives to those coffee beans.

Colombia Coffee is 100% mild washed arabica beans. It is grown and harvested year round so Colombian Coffee can always be found fresh.

It starts with the plant.

The beans grow due to the perfect climate condition in the Andes mountains that cross Colombia from south to north.

It is said Colombia didn’t choose to grow coffee; it was coffee that chose to grow in Colombia. The more than 500,00 growers live in over 50% of Colombia’s towns and so every purchase not only gives you amazing coffee beans but also helps support families in Colombia.

Honestly I never thought this much about coffee but I love that Colombia Coffee is putting it all there.  I will say I do notice a difference in beans. I am not sure if I ever specifically tried Colombian beans before but now that I have I can taste the rich flavor and freshness. I got the chance to try out some Colombian coffee in a French Press, which I have also never used, and wow that was a great cup of coffee. I do appreciate the coffee more now too that I know the love that goes in to the beans beforehand and how my purchase is helping local Colombian growers.

My husband who drinks a lot more coffee than I do said I need to start paying attention to the brands I buy. Yes there are specific coffee brands that are 100% Colombian. You can check the bag of beans themselves or visit the Cafe de Colombia Facebook page to browse the brands.

Here are just some of the brands:
