There is not better season than summer for the whole family to get away and spend some relaxing and quality time together on a great family vacation. 3. Costa del Sol, Spain

The Coast of the Sun, runs along the Spanish shores of the Mediterranean Sea, through the quaint villages and vibrant towns Andalusia. The largest of Spain’s Canary Islands, Tenerife might be flocked to for its perfect weather and beautiful surf and sand, but the island is also ripe for some family exploring. Whether you’re hiking through Teide National Park, or taking a boat tour through the dolphin filled bay beneath the towering Los Gigantes cliffs, your family will be in store for the best of both worlds — ultimate beachside relaxation and thrilling discovery.

5. Majorca, Spain

The Island of Majorca has become an iconic holiday destination for good reason, with stunning landscape ranging from the UNESCO World Heritage Status Serra de Tramuntana, which rises out of the island’s northern coastal region, to the famous sun bed and umbrella dotted resort beaches of the South. This destination has all the amenities a family could ask for, and by leaving the resort towns you can even experience a unique cultural experience by visiting the island’s small villages and meeting some of the locals.
