Cookware that Give Back to Autism, Breast Cancer & Clean Water

Disclosure: I received the products below to review in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.

I love when brands partner with charities to make it easy for shoppers to give back while buying products they already need. I admit I don’t donate as much I’d like but it can be overwhelming out there with so many causes that need help. When I am able to give back by buying a specific product I do tend to buy those products over others. I like that I can contribute while I’m out buying things my family already needs or as gifts. It is such a simple thing but every little bit counts and can go a long way for charitable organizations.

Bialetti, Italy’s #1 cookware and stovetop coffee maker, recently cam out with their Illuminate 10″ saute pans that bring light and funds to charities. There are three different colored pans in honor of each cause and 10% of all sales will go to the pan’s designated cause.

Illuminate Pink supports the National Breast Cancer Foundation, which provides help and inspires hope to those affected by breast cancer through early detection, education and support services.

Illuminate Blue supports Autism Speaks, the world’s leading autism science and advocacy organization.

Illuminate Yellow, supports clean water projects through charity:water, a non-profit organization bringing clean, safe drinking water to people in developing countries.

What I love about these pans other than the part of the proceeds going to help worthy causes is that they are a great reminder to me that others need help. Every time I cook with my Bialetti pans I think how fortunate we are and how I need to do more for charity. The pans are of course quality pans as well as they feature a non-toxic coating (PTFE-free and PFOA-free) and they are even green as the coating is applied at a low temperature leading to a lower emission of C02 into the atmosphere.

I have used these pans a few times now and they have worked great. I love the non-stick coating which keeps the pans looking fresh and clean. The white color is stain resistant and it makes it super easy to see how your foods are cooking, as compared to a black coated pan. Can’t believe more companies haven’t switched over to a while coating! These make great cookware for everyday cooking and would make a great gift for any kitchen.

Love this pan – no messy egg mess to scrub off:
