I received the product below to review in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.
A few years ago we received the World of Disney Eye Found It! and to this day we still play it. The game is perfect for all ages so for us it is a great family game since my kids vary in ages. Well Wonder Forge has come out with a new Eye Found It! game that has players journeying through time.
This game board is 6 foot long and spans eight historic eras. You play as a team and no reading is required. It encourages cooperation and teamwork. You spin a spinner and if you land on Search then you set the timer and search for whatever the card shows. For example there will be a picture of Hammers and you have to find Hammers throughout the game board before the timer runs out. To win the game you have to beat the clock and reach the end of the board as a team. There are so many cards that you don’t have to worry about running out of things to find anytime soon. We have played this numerous times and each time I find something I hadn’t noticed the last time. You can even be creative as if the car says something about food you can find items related to cooking. My boys love this because they love history and non-fiction and they love just looking at the various historic eras.

Disappointed! Sure game is fun enough as kids experience working together to reach the top. Disappointment came when I realized they weren't actually going to learn anything about the 7 eras it touts you will EXPLORE. Packaging is beautiful and intriguing. Guess that's what sucked me in. Plus, if more than 2 players there are not enough finder rings for time allotted. If I had realized this was not a "teaching" game I would have saved my $$.
I loved these kinds of games as a kid!
This sounds like a very fun game.
