Kids Books About Love Perfect for Valentines Day From @HarperCollins

I received books to review in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, HarperCollins has some great titles available. Perfect for celebrating Valentine’s Day or just to celebrate love!

Plant a Kiss

This is an adorable board book with just a few words on each page, perfect for young kids. The illustrations are very simple but cute. It is a cute story on kindness and giving. The pages rhyme too which is perfect for helping young readers.

Pete the Cat’s Groovy Guide to Love

This is a smaller sized picture book all about Pete the Cat and love. It features tips from Pete as well as famous quotes such as “Love conquers all.” – Virgil. The quotes are all appropriate for kids and there are tons that I actually had never heard. This is an adorable book to pick up and read whenever, its not a storybook. This would be a cute coffee table book for kids to enjoy or just read one quote each day in February! If you are looking for a Pete the Cat story though, this is not one – he does have his own quotes in the books and illustrations though.

Worm Loves Worm

This is a cute book about two worms who fall in love and want to get married. Their friends are frazzled over who will be the groom and who will be the bride since they can’t tell their genders. The worms though say they can be both which is pretty adorable as each wears parts of the others outfits. It is a great story on love and how it doesn’t matter who is who as long as you love the other person. Its such a simple story which a great meaning behind it. The book is a smaller square hardcover picture book.

I Love You Already!

This is a traditional picture book that is about two friends. The duck thinks that because bear doesn’t want to spend every minute with him and talk to him that he doesn’t like him. Bear explains he does of course! It is a great story for kids to show that even if someone isn’t there or is busy (like us parents can be) that doesn’t mean we don’t care. Sometimes people need their own space and thats okay! Adorable story and illustrations. Very quick read (maybe 10 minutes) so perfect for bedtime.
