My boys have always been fascinated with two things: cars and building.  They would sit for hours and zoom their little cars around the play rug I had.  Well now that they are 6 and 7 they are all about building cars. Something about building their own cars just makes it that much cooler.  Well Mega Bloks has partnered with Hot Wheels to create some pretty cool car kits and I got the chance to check out the Mega Bloks Hot Wheels Super Race Set

What makes this set so cool?  Your child gets to build eight cars all at once!  Yep no taking one apart to build the next one, they will build eight separate cars!

They can follow the directions or come up with their own styles, the possibilities really are endless!  For even more fun after their built there are Mega Bloks Hot Wheels stunt sets you can buy to race them on or just create your own race track at home for them.

So building this set is not as easy as I would have hoped.  The pieces are in separate bags but they are not bagged for each car, I am actually not sure what the logic is behind bagging them.  So you will have to open every single bag and sort the pieces before you even get started.  So you can’t really build just one car without opening everything up.  Once opened though and sorted it is super easy to build the cars since they don’t require that many pieces.  I do love though how you can build all eight cars at once without having to take any apart.  Other sets we have you can usually build three or more things but you have to take them apart to do it.  These sets are pretty
