Little Live Pets – Mice and Turtles Oh My!

I received the products below to review in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.

Last year my family got the chance to check out Little Live Pets Friendly Frankie. That bird has not only lasted through all three of my kids using it but it is a toy they still play with. Its funny how something as silly as a talking bird can engage three different kids. Well Moose Toys has expanded on their Little Live Pets line since then and now include mice, turtles and other birds. We got the chance to check out a few of them and of course they are a hit.

Little Live Pets Lil’ Mouse House – Blossom

Blossom is a little pink mouse who comes with her own little habitat including a little track and mouse wheel. She is easily turned on and off with the push of button. She does come with her included batteries which are the small button cell batteries. She is fun to watch roam around her little habitat or carry her around with you to another room easily. The track piece easily clicks off and you can lock the door closed so she has to stay in her case. I will say be careful letting her roam around the house though because she is small and will go under couches and such, which may make it hard to get back out. My kids like setting up an area for her or just letting her go in her habitat. We love when she goes on the wheel! Great toy if your child wants a pet mouse or hamster! Much easier to maintain!

Little Live Pets Lil’ Turtle and Tank

Little Live Pets Lil’ Turtle is a great turtle whether you want to add to your Little Live Pets Lil’ Turtle Tank or you just want the turtle without the tank. He can easily be played with on his own with just a hard surface floor or put him in a container of water to watch him go! He really does move and swim, so much easier too than taking care of a real turtle! The Tank is a great value since you get both the tank and the turtle. You can add additional turtles but they both wouldn’t fit inside the tank to swim, just to store or one at a time. I have seen other electronic pets before work just for a little bit but this turtle has been working great for us!

Overall, I love adding to our non-real animal collection as it keeps my kids busy with them rather than asking for real pets!
