I am a Denny’s ambassador and will receive compensation and products in exchange for sharing this information and my honest opinion.
Did you know that 1 in 5 kids in America struggles with hunger? It is known that meals are essential to a child’s well-being and can be directly linked to their academic, health and economic futures. Many kids who qualify can get lunch provided to them at school but don’t get breakfast. I was able to check out my state’s Hunger at a Glance. You can check your state’s at https://www.dennysnokidhungry.com/.
This month marks Denny’s sixth annual No Kid Hungry campaign with a goal to raise money to help end childhood hunger. To date, Denny’s has been able to donate more than $3.3 million to No Kid Hungry and will look to make an even great impact on the cause this year with the continued support of its team members and guests.
Now through October 2nd, diners can donate to the No Kid Hungry campaign, with all the proceeds going directly to the campaign. Through No Kid Hungry, every $1 donation received provides a child with 10 healthy meals – which means even the smallest donation can make a difference. To thank guests for their generous donations, Denny’s will provide a discount coupon redeemable at participating locations upon their next visit.
Guests may also contribute to the campaign with a monetary donation of their choice at dennysnokidhungry.com. Every dollar is tax-deductible as well.
Denny’s will donate $1 to No Kid Hungry every time the hashtag #ShareMySlam is shared on Twitter and Instagram.
During the month of September, Denny’s toughest pancake critics can come try out the new ‘cakes for free with Denny’s Kids Free Pancakes promotion! Every day between the hours of 4 and 10 p.m. during the month of September, kids ages 10 and under can order a free junior stack of pancakes with the purchase of one entrée.
In case you missed it too, Denny’s has re-vamped their pancakes to make them 50% fluffier. They are made with fresh buttermilk, real eggs and a hint of vanilla.
September is the perfect month to visit your local Denny’s as you can make a donation to help out kids and if you have kids, they can get free pancakes!

I am so glad that Denny's is participating in this again. I volunteer with Feeding America and the number of families that rely on them and other organizations just to feed their children is absolutely soul-crushing!
What a worthwhile program. Kudos to Denny's for giving back.
Denny's has delicious breakfasts. I love that they are giving back like this! What a great cause!
