My kids have been playing with K’NEX since they were just starting to play with real toys. From Lincoln Logs to Tinkertoys, K’NEX has been a hit in our household. Now my boys have moved onto some of the older K’NEX building sets, which K’NEX has just come out with a few awesome ones!

We got the chance to check out some K-FORCE building sets and my 8 year old had a blast building and playing with their new K-FORCE sets.

47008 – K-10V BUILDING SET

This K’NEX K-FORCE K-10V Building Set allows the builder to build a blaster that actually works! Once you build the blaster you get five foam darts to shoot with. The trigger actually works! Its two toys in one and once done you can even combine with other K’NEX K-FORCE pieces to create a bigger piece.

47517 – MINI CROSS BUILDING SET

This K’NEX set contains pieces to build a mini cross blaster. It is basically a blaster with a cross bow as decoration. You don’t get to shoot like a bow and arrow but it is neat touch. Foam darts can be shot up to 75 feet and you get five darts. The trigger actually works which is pretty cool. So you get the fun of building the set and then playing with it. If you have other K-FORCE sets you can even combine the pieces for a bigger blaster! No batteries are required either which is nice, its kid-powered! For the price its a great value!
