About three years ago, my boys first discovered Modarri cars. They were just starting to want to build their own cars but were not quite ready for model kits. Modarri cars are customizable metal cars that kids can build in BILLIONS of various combinations. The cars can be customized with up to 11 interchangeable pieces per car. Yes, 11 pieces can be changed on each car and then if you have multiple cars you can continue to mix and match all the pieces.

What we love about Modarri cars

• They are an ageless toy. To me they are a classic toy that I plan on holding onto for future generations in our family. They are a toy that my boys have played with for years as well as my husband and I join in the fun. Now 6-year-old daughter even plays with them.

• Finger-driven with real steering and suspension mechanics means the cars can really zoom around.

• Easily assembled and disassembled which means more play time. You receive a tiny hex tool with each car to remove the tiny screws – but there is no worrying either about loosing the screws either as they are retained in the components. The screws will not fall out!

• The durable construction of real metal frames, heavy duty plastic, and strong mechanical linkages. My boys have used them inside and outside for years and they still look brand new

• It is a STEM toy that inspires open-ended play. Kids can build, play and experiment with them with speed and stunts.

• There are new designs available which means more customization and fun. My boys were excited to see new body styles available as well such as Dirt cars, Track cars and Muscle cars.

Oh and even LEGO guys fit in there!
