The Hot Wheels brand has been a brand that has been all over my house for about ten years now. From cars to playsets to clothes, Hot Wheels is a brand near and dear to my family’s heart.

Now that my boys are getting older, they were excited to see commercials for the Hot Wheels Ballistik Racer Vehicle. The commercials showed the Racer zooming around on all terrain. It is the perfect toy for kids who love Hot Wheels but are looking for more action.

The New Hot Wheels Ballistik Racer Vehicle really is perfect for letting them remote control drive a car all around. What sets this Hot Wheels Racer apart from other remote control cars that I have seen is this racer can be driven off-road and turned all around. It has crazy speed and stunt abilities and best of…it only takes 30 minutes to fully charge it thanks to the new SuperSpeed Battery System! I will say too I was really impressed when I first saw its size, it really is huge!

Using the Hot Wheels Ballistik Racer Vehicle is super easy. It charges in 30 minutes by plugging the battery into the wall and the remote takes 3AA batteries. Luckily we had those batteries on hand so my boys had this opened and ready to go within the hour! The playtime lasts a good amount of time and when it does it need to charge, it charges 11 times faster!

My boys have become quite the experts at maneuvering their Ballistik Racer around while still doing fun stunts! The buttons on the remote are very easy to figure out and maneuver. There are just enough buttons to give lots of options for fun playing but not too much that its overwhelming. There are even button configurations to learn to activate special stunts. Even I was able to figure the controls out!

If you have a child who loves Hot Wheels, remote controlled cars or just loves action, this is a great toy. My boys have had a blast with it so far and I don’t see that changing anytime soon. The racer is pretty durable too which to me means it will stand up to my kids constant use.
