Last month my family and I found ourselves in Orlando for a night and in need of transportation. Renting a car can be overwhelming and there are so many choices out there.
If you are looking for a rental car service around Orlando International Airport, I cannot say enough good things about Silvercar.
Silvercar is located at the Orlando International Airport so its easy to get your rental while arriving from a flight. All I had to do was text a number that we were there and within five minutes, a shuttle arrived! Seriously couldn’t have been easier!
No worrying about what car you’ll end up with or spending too much time trying to pick between different models. Silvercar offers only two options: Audi A4 or Audi Q5 – basically a sedan or SUV. I got the Audi Q5 and it fit my family of five and our luggage from a weeklong vacation!
The service is app based so yes you do need to download an app but it is a very simple and intuitive app. You actually unlock the car with your phone and inside are the keys. No paperwork to deal with as everything is done via texting and app!
Free luxury Peg Perego car seats and boosters! All you have to do is a request one with your reservation and it will be ready for you. We have had to rent car seats before and they were old, dirty, off-brand ones so it was super nice to receive a Peg Perego one that we could trust!
No nonsense pricing starting at $49 with no hidden fees. You also get fair toll tracking and fuel plan options. We went through two tolls and a few days after my return I received an email saying they were charging my credit card for the two tolls – super easier than trying to pay at a toll booth in a state I wasn’t familiar with.
Loaded features in the car means you don’t have to worry. The entire fleet from Silvercar features onboard Wi-Fi, GPS navigation, roof racks and SiriusXM satellite radio all included at no additional cost. We have had rentals in the past from other companies and they were literally bare bones cars so it was refreshing to have the hottest tech loaded in the car ready for us!
The whole process from booking to picking up to returning the car could not have been any easier. I honestly was waiting for something to go wrong but it never did. Everything was smooth and Silvercar is now my car rental company of choice.

love the free carseat option, makes traveling with little ones so easy! And I like the amenities included in the rental, given today's technology all rental cars should be like this but some companies charge you for every little extra so this is good to know that these come fully loaded with the extras at no extra fee! Wish they were in the Northeast though!
