Alien Girls Chapter Books – The Jupiter Twins

My 7-year-old is constantly looking for books to read but it can be hard to find books to keep up with her. There are so many books that are either too easy or too hard for her. She also prefers series books so she can keep reading adventures with various characters.

The most recent series she has discovered are The Jupiter Twins. They are easy chapter books geared towards ages 5 to 7 years old.

The Jupiter Twins books are perfect for young readers transitioning into longer story books. Each book contains between 800 to 1,200 words with 3-4 chapters. Each book is then beautifully illustrated in bright colors by award-winning artist Dave Clegg.

My daughter loves the characters Trudy and Tina as they are best friends who happen to be twins. The girls go on different adventures and overcome obstacles. There are new creatures they meet too! The girls are also unlike any other chapter books she has read since they are alien girls!

The stories are easy to kids to understand and follow which is what you want from kids books. I have found if my daughter gets frustrated with a book that is supposed to be her level, she doesn’t want to read anymore and I have to fight with her to get her back into reading.

I love that this is a series that my daughter can read and re-read, and yes she has already read them again. The book series contains four books so far and it is a continuing series. The small paperback size makes it easy to carry around and for little hands to hold. We actually keep these in the car for on-the-go reading.
