There are some types of toys that never go out of style such as craft kits, cars, dolls and building blocks. Every year I gift those items to my kids for birthdays and Christmas and they never disappoint.
While you may think that building blocks can’t really be changed, E-Blox has done just that. Kids not only get to build creations with blocks but they can add lights, sounds and motions.
What makes E-Blox stand out is its patented technology, which consists of tin-plated blocks (pARTS™ line) or copper pins and sockets (Circuit Builder™ line) that connect to a battery block, powering the electrical component blocks. Kids can seamlessly add to their creations without the bulk of wires.
Introduce young learners to the wonders of electricity, current and voltagewith this 22-piece building set. In all, kids can build 59 different projects! They will be amazed to uncover how lights, alarms, motors, switches and more work all while building whatever appeals to them that day. Like other E-Blox sets, this is compatible with the building brick sets already in the house. Requires 3 “AA” batteries.
If you build it, it will fly! The Light ‘N Flight airplane features a high speed, Lego-compatible motor that will take your block creations soaring.
A bit of art mixed with a bit of science creates this stimulating STEAM toy where young minds match their creativity with their imaginations. There are no wires. Kids build circuits directly into their projects and light up 3D circuits with E-Blox unique power block. Best of all, this set is compatible with other toy brick so kids can enhance and bring lights to their LEGO® sets. The Standard Set contains over 40-patented parts including 10 LED’s and requires just one 9V battery.
Wow the family with a creation that boasts different flashing lights and a motor that allows your lighted creation to spin!
Honestly, the sets are pretty cool. We got the Power Blox Standard Set and Circuit Blox Lights N’ Motion which are two great sets to start out with. The Power Blox Standard Set includes light pieces to light up creations and the Circuit Blox Lights N’ Motion allows kids to see their creations move!
I will say too that I was able to use these pieces with the LEGO pieces we already have and build together with them. This is great if your child already have a bunch of building pieces at home as they can add to their collection and do something new with them.
The Power Blox Standard Set is especially neat because it comes with a great storage box with removable dividers and a building top surface. This is perfect for on-the-go fun or just storage at home!
