Is “Spider-Man: Far From Home” Lame?

Spider-Man: Far From Home

Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, Peter Parker (Tom Holland) returns in Spider-Man: Far From Home. Our friendly neighborhood Super Hero decides to join his best friends Ned, MJ, and the rest of the gang on a European vacation. However, Peter’s plan to leave super heroics behind for a few weeks is quickly scrapped when he begrudgingly agrees to help Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) uncover the mystery of several elemental creature attacks. Spider-Man and Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) join forces to fight the havoc unleashed across the continent but all is not as it seems.

So honestly I have not seen every Marvel or even Spider-Man movie but I did watch Avengers: Endgame and was happy to see how this movie picks up from where that left off. I like how Spider-Man is a teen too as I think he is more relatable to younger Marvel fans rather than older characters. My family loved the action in this movie and the line up of actors was perfect.

I don’t want to give away anything in the movie but don’t worry if you are new to Marvel as its easy to pick up what is going on and just appreciate the action in general. There are lots of feelings going on in the movie – happy, sad, nervous, angry – but it will keep you on the edge of your seat. I admit too that I thought the movie would be lame because it’s about a boy on a school trip but it surprised me. With being rated PG-13 it is a great family movie too!
