My husband and I used to play board games all the time before kids and even when our oldest was little, but as he got older and we added to our family, we had less and less game nights. Now that my kids are old enough to play fun games (there really is only so much Hi Ho Cherry O and CandyLand a mom can play) I am instituting regular family game nights. We are so busy most nights with three active kids but we also have some time in the house together as a family and I intend to have us make the most of it.
