5 Reasons Why You Need to See “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker”

I received product/compensation in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.

I admit I am not a huge Star Wars fan but I have seen all the movies. I started watching them with a boyfriend back in highshool and ever since I have stayed up to date with watching them as they came out. While I wasn’t a science fiction fan when I started watching them, I grew to love the characters and story lines.

Here are my CC Reasons Why You Need to See “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker”:

I feel like this movie signaled the end of an era and I needed closure on the characters. This movie wrapped up the series and characters nicely, including Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia). If you have watched the other movies too you don’t want to miss out on how it ends!

Girl power! This movie focuses on who Rey is and how her battle as a jedi goes. She is awesome and a great role model that girls can do anything. Usually the superhero is male, so it is nice to see a girl rising to the occasion.

Honestly you don’t have to have watched all the Star Wars movies to appreciate the special effects. So many great fight scenes and characters to enjoy. It is so crazy too to thing how far along this movie has come from the original Star Wars movies.

Speaking of action and special effects – there are some crazy and powerful fight scenes. I honestly kinda wish I had a lightsaber to practice with!

This reason goes more to owning the DVD/Blu-ray – there are over two hours of bonus material including a feature-length, making-of documentary and behind-the-scenes access to the cast and filmmakers who brought the epic scenes and characters to life.
