Celebrate “Me” or “Family” Time With Nintendo

Quarantine has definitely been challenging for my family, as I am sure it has been for many other families. We had started a remodel right before everything started and have definitely had some interesting living situations these past few months. One thing that has kept my family going is games. We have played numerous board and video games these last few months.

One of our favorite games has always been Mario Party because it is a combination of a video game and board game. I remember getting the first Mario Party for our Nintendo Wii and playing it all the time. Can you believe there have been 10 editions of Mario Party since then? I had no clue and definitely feel like I am missing out!

The most recent Mario Party came out for the Nintendo Switch and my family has been playing it like crazy! Seriously it is a game that we all love from ages 8 to 39 years old! Who knew there was a game that even my tweens can enjoy with us!

What do we love about Super Mario Party?

New mini-games! My family has always loved the mini-games because it gives us a chance to play a variety of games both alone, in teams and against each other.

Speaking of mini-games, these games are so much fun and I love the variety of them!

With the Nintendo Switch we can play both via tabletop method or casted onto our tv – perfect for playing wherever we are. Now we have a new game to play too when we travel since we of course don’t travel without our Switch.

It is a great way to play a board game but still enjoy technology with kids.

Also, these is an end with this board game so you can set a limit on how long the game will take which is great for a quick or longer game.

Don’t forget about “Me” Time

While I love my family and playing games with them, sometimes I admit I like to take our Nintendo Switch and get some “me” time in. Something about unwinding with a video game is a great way to escape for a little bit. I like too the challenge of some of the games as they give my brain some exercise!
