I received this product to review in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.
My oldest son is 13 years old and I feel like that is in the in-between age range. He feels he is too old for some things but then not old enough for others. He feels he is too old for a regular scooter and has been asking for a pocket bike or something else electric. We did try electric scooters years ago for my boys but they were bulky and the charge didn’t last very long. Scooters have definitely come a long way!
We got the GOTRAX GXL V2 2020 for my 13-year-old and he literally zooms around on it all day! He thinks he is so cool I feel like it has bought me some time for him to still be a kid but not yet driving a car! Definitely safer too in my opinion than some other electric toys out there.
Honestly my son has not bugged me for anything for weeks as he has been so busy with his scooter. It has really bridged the gap from kids ride-ons to driving a car for us. It takes a lot to impress my teen but he thinks this scooter is amazing because of the headlight, way it folds down and how fast it actually goes. He actually brought it with us when we went to visit the grandparents so he could show it off there! Oh and my husband is already saying he is borrowing it when he is allowed to go back to work in the city since he has to walk about a mile from the train to his office.
Check out the GOTRAX GXL V2 2020 for your teen or get one for yourself (or both!) The family that scooter together stays together, right?!
