Small But Mighty Family Card Games From TREND enterprises

I received product in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.

Card games are something I grew up playing as my parents are big into poker and gambling. They got together with their friends and other family members every weekend and would play everything from UNO to Poker. I have always been more of a War, Rummy and solitaire fan myself but now there are so many card games available for families to play. Have you ever been to a toy store and just browsed at all the board and card games? It can be pretty overwhelming!

According to The Wall Street Journal, playing card games with children can support their development by teaching them strategic thinking, improving their memory skills, building confidence, and strengthening family ties.

TREND enterprises, Inc.® has a wide selection of board games, card games, puzzles and more all perfect for families. Last month they launched six imaginative card games starring characters such as Bigfoot, trolls, trains and lizards.

Each game has a small price tag of $9.99 per game and is small enough to take with you. The games start at age 4 years old but there are games for older kids starting at 8 years old as well. I love how they all have unique themes to them! All Three Corner™ card games are proudly made in the USA.

enCOWnter

This cosmic card game boasts 63 Three Corner™ cards for fun that is out of this world. Players become aliens on a mission to capture Earthly Things like a cow, dog and Grandma (!) and bring them to their Leader. Watch out for cards with Martian mishaps like Worm Hole or Freeze Ray. One lucky draw makes it anyone’s game.

Gemz!

Ages 4+ • $9.99 • 15-minute games

Add some sparkle to family game night. Each player is dealt three Gemz cards with a goal of trying to collect six cards of the same color. As everyone takes a turn, watch out – you could lose a card or lose a turn. Swap one of your cards for any of your opponents’. Easy to learn and quick to play. With minimal word cards this is a great multi-generational activity for early and nonreaders.

Gnomes vs Trolls

Ages 4+ • $9.99 • 30-minute games

This sneaky fun card game boasts storybook artwork that keeps the youngest kids’ attention with details that are fun to spot. Once upon a time gnomes lived in the garden with their treasures, but trolls loved to steal their gems and jewels. In a 30-minute round, race the “troll timer” to collect gnomes that aren’t sleeping or sneaking to protect your treasure and win!

Lava Lizards

Ages 4+ • $9.99 • 15-minute games

This matching game is explosive. Challenge everyone with three-sided cards that match three different ways – match lizard colors or match lizard shapes or match lava corners. It’s actually five games in one. There are even Hot Lava Timer cards. When the sixth card is drawn – boom – time is up. This 63-card deck has options for solo or co-op play.

On Track

Ages 8+ • $9.99  • 30-60-minute games

Be the first person to complete a line from engine to terminal along a scenic railway to win. Kids won’t realize the educational value built right into each game play. Conquer engineering and math challenges to correctly connect tracks while learning American history and geography lessons. The game makers advise it will take concentration, a competitive spirit, and a bit of luck to triumph in this family-favorite game.

sqWATCH Out!

Ages 8+ • $9.99 • 45-minute games

With multiple rounds and secret cards, this family card deck featuring Bigfoot makes it anyone’s game. Fame and fortune await players if they can prove Bigfoot’s legendary existence.
