Using Digital Currency Wallets

When I was younger cash and checks were all that were used. My parents would carry just enough cash on them and write checks for higher expenses like utilities and the grocery store. While debit cards did come out in the 1970’s, it actually wasn’t until the late 1980’s that they became more popular and used to pay for electronic transactions. Originally debit cards were to withdraw money from the bank only. Crazy to think how far we have come that we can now even mobile deposit checks.

Today I feel like credit cards are used and accepted everywhere but digital currency is slowly creeping its way up. Things like cryptocurrency now exist which is not physically in our hands but rather a way to transfer currency digitally as an alternative form of payment created using encryption algorithms. The use of encryption technologies means that cryptocurrencies function both as a currency and as a virtual accounting system which sounds complicated but its not, it is just different than what we are used to.

Jaxx Liberty is a cryptocurrency management platform that comes with mobile wallets, digital currency exchanges, and pricing comparisons. The most popular form of crypto is Bitcoin which kind of came out of nowhere but then again has been around for a while. You may be wondering – Is Jaxx Liberty free? Fees may apply for purchasing cryptocurrency, exchanging cryptocurrency, and sending coins between wallets but it is a simple interface that accepts over 80 cryptocurrencies. Whether you are new or old to Jaxx Liberty you can access your digital wallet easily and quickly. Have an old account but not sure? You are definitely not alone as you may have opened one a while ago and forgotten about it. You definitely do not want to forget though about money you have somewhere. With digital currencies it is also accessible on your device as well so you do want to maintain your device to be safe.

How do I access my old Jaxx wallet?

Right on the website there is a way to pair or restore an existing wallet, again they are all about simplicity. Once in the interface, you can manage your cryptocurrencies, purchase new ones and exchange them. All of your data is stored on your device and encrypted through the software.

If you are new to cryptocurrency this is a great way to dip your feet in slowly without being overwhelmed. Honestly, I am still new to digital currencies but now I have even seen stores accept them and just like people back in the day collecting gold to sell one day, this is another way to save for your future.
