Protect-A-Bed Premium Pillow Protector Review & Giveaway (Ends 2/26)

Okay so I don’t want to gross anyone out, but I had to share the following fact with you.

FACT: Every night the human body loses at least a pint of body fluids through the skin pores and mouth, as well as millions of skin flakes. Unprotected pillows thereby create the perfect breeding ground for bacteria and dust mites (a major cause of asthma, eczema, and rhinitis.)

So now that you probably want to go wash your bedding and scrub your pillows, I know I did, I have found a great product from Protect-A-Bed. Last summer you might have recalled me posting a review on a Protect-A-Bed Mattress Protector (read it here). Well Protect-A-Bed makes these awesome products to protect your mattresses and pillows from Dust Mites and they provide an Allergy Protection Barrier.

I received their Premium Pillow Protector to check out and I must say it is nice! It is basically a terry cotton cover than you zip over your pillow cases. It has the innovative Protect-A-Bed Miracle Membrane with total Heat Transference formula, so you can sleep comfortably and safely. I love that it protects pillows from stains and is completely waterproof, because yes my husband sweats and turns our pillows yellow (TMI?) Now I just zip on the pillow protector and our regular pillow cover (although you don’t have too cover it) and I can rest easy that our pillows will last longer and we can have a Allergy-Free, Healthy, and Hygienic Sleep.

Overall, I really enjoy the Protect-A-Bed products, and the Pillow Protector is no exception. It is also perfect for taking with you for overnight stays, for example at hotels. Also, so far we are all pretty good as far as allergies go, but this would be a great product especially for those that have Allergy issues!
