ABOUT MAGNEATOS:

OPPENHEIM TOY PORTFOLIO GOLD & SNAP SEAL AWARD AND NICK JR. FAMILY MAGAZINE BEST TOYS

For Ages 2+

Now younger children can experience the fun and mystery of magnetic construction!

Similar concept to popular sets made for older kids, Magneatos jumbo-sized pieces are designed for small hands and huge imaginations. Magneatos create a new arena of creative play for young children. Jumbo-Sized Magnetic Construction Set. 72 piece set.

MY THOUGHTS:

My boys love the Magneatos.  Something about them being different than their other blocks and being able to magnetically go together, just makes them a whole new toy for them!  They are colorful and easy to grasp and snap together.  I have tried out other magnetic toys before and they were too hard to go together and the whole polar opposites thing made my boys confused and not understand them.  They are tricky to build with for young kids as at least with my boys they didn’t have the patience just yet.  I am sure with more playtime with them and watching me build, they will get it.

I have no complaints though with the Magneatos.  They do what they are suppossed to and are safe for kids.  I stored all of these in a bright blue tub (does not come with it) and my boys have grabbed the tub everyday so far to play with them.  I can definitely see how they can spark creativity and keep kids busy.  I also think this 72 piece set I tried out was the perfect amount for two kids to play with.

(Yes our kitchen chairs are metal and Aidan figured this out on his own!)

Other than Magneatos there are also a bunch of other adorable products!

BUY IT: You can buy the 72 piece Magneatos Set for $60 through the Guidecraft website or check the Store Locator for both online and retail stores that sell Guidecraft products.
