Wild Creations African Dwarf Frogs Review & Giveaway (Ends 5/28)

MY THOUGHTS:

Okay so I never thought of getting my boys a fish or frog for that manner until they were a few years older.  I just didn’t think they would care or understand.  Well my 3 year old loves these frogs and my 22 month old wants to hold them!  I think it helps that in preschool they are watching Butterflies grow so now at home he can watch the frogs at home.  I also cannot believe how easy everything was!

When I first received the frogs (they arrive within 2 days via Fed Ex) to ensure you receive 100% healthy frogs, yes you receive live frogs!  I carefully opened everything and followed the easy directions.  Within about 40 minutes everything was set up and the frogs comfortable in their new home.  Set up only takes minutes to set up but you do have to allow the frogs to get used to their new water.  The tank came with a plastic tank with base, colorful rocks, live rocks, two frogs, a bamboo plant, a rock, and food for a year.  The only thing I wished it would have come with is a net to transfer the frogs from the bag they came in to the tank.  I had to use a Ziploc bag with holes in it and was able to transfer them but a little net like they suggest would have been easier.

Overall, I love these little frogs!  They float and swim and are doing just great.  I have had them set up for a few weeks now and they really are easy.  Like I said set up was easy and you only have to feed them twice a week.  You also don’t have to clean or add water for months.  The tank is small enough that it fits anywhere and since they are so low maintainence it would even be a great gift to keep at a desk for work!  Or just for a first time pet owner or classroom!
