Taking care of your heart, muscles, joints, and core becomes increasingly important as you reach your 40s, 50s, and 60s. These three programs build lean muscle, increase bone mass, and enhance balance and flexibility so you can remain active and energized every day.

Keeping Fit Strength Build muscle, increase metabolism, and develop bone density.
Keeping Fit Cardio Burn calories and fat for a strong, healthy heart.
Keeping Fit Pilates Tone and condition your core and entire body.

Each program is segmented into ten 5-minute workout blasts, giving you the option to customize your workout. Start with two or three segments, mix and match them as you get stronger, and work up to doing the full programs. With nearly three hours of programming, the Keeping Fit system provides all you need to get healthy for life!

A certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor, Andrea Metcalf has helped thousands of people stay fit over a career spanning nearly 30 years. She makes frequent appearances on NBC’s Today show and writes about fitness.

MY THOUGHTS:

I like this box set because it doesn’t seem to crazy.  Andrea Metcalf, does all the exercises herself and they aren’t ones that I can’t do!  There is also upbeat music in the background and instead of being set in a gym/studio, the background is actually a living room or such of a very nice house.  It reminds me of working out at home.  The three DVDs (50 minutes each) cover three areas that are also important to me – Strength, Cardio, and Pilates for my entire body.  I like too how I can start out slow with a few segments of exercises up to finishing a whole DVD.  Andrea is also not annoying to listen to or watch.  She explains that we shouldn’t push ourselves too much and seems to really care about fitness.  I would recommend this DVD set to anyone starting out with exercising (like me) or just someone looking to change up their already existing routine!
