Dinosaur Train Collectibles Review (& Big Giveaway Ends 6/24)

Based on the Henson PBS Show, Dinosaur Train collectible packs from Learning Curve are now available!  They include  3-Packs of the characters and Train Car 2-packs.  The figures are compatible with the Dinosaur Train track sets and collectible figures sold separately.

Dinosaur Train Dinosaur and Train Car 2-packs by Learning Curve

All aboard for action and adventure with Buddy and the Dinosaur Train crew! Featuring the beloved characters from the animated series, these collectible 2-packs include a detailed dinosaur figure and a train car decorated to match the character. Each dinosaur figure fits inside its respective train car, which can then attach to the others in the series, extending the Dinosaur Train fun. The 2-packs also include a special Dinosaur Train collector card and are the perfect pocket-size collectible. Character packs include Buddy with train car, Tiny with train car, Morris with train car, Tank with train car, Ned with train car and the Conductor with a train car.  Ages: 3 and up.

MY THOUGHTS:

My boys love when they have toys that feature their favorite characters and Dinosaur Train is definitely one of their favorite shows.  I mean how can you go wrong with dinosaurs and a train!  The show is great because it not only teaches kids about the different dinosaurs and their characteristics but also some great lessons like listening and working together.

I got the chance to check out the new set of Dinosaur Train collectibles and my boys couldn’t open the packages fast enough!

These figurines are great and perfect for little hands.  They are also very hard and durable so they are not cheap plastic figurines that are going to break.  My boys love all the different colors and features of all the dinosaurs and thought it was cool when they got to play with them and watch the show “Dinosaur Train.”  The figurines are perfect for playtime or to display as collectibles.  I also don’t think your child needs to be a Dinosaur Train fan to appreciate the figurines as they are just cool little dinosaurs to play with!  The train cars are equally cool and my brightly colored.

While they don’t fit perfectly on our train table tracks, my boys like to zoom the Dinosaur Train cars on the tracks and pretend, as well as on the family room floor.  My little guy can attach the train cars himself, which makes him feel like a big guy!

BUY IT: Look for Dinosaur Train collectibles at Toys R Us or Toysrus.com.  They are about $6.99 a package.
