ABOUT:
It’s four SIMON games in one! The WONDER-LINK technology lets the cubes know where you shuffle them, when you win and what you scored. The yellow game is SIMON Lights Off: Can you quickly line up the cubes in just the right order to turn off all the lights? The red game is SIMON Shuffle: When the cube colors scramble, can you line them up in their original order? The blue game is SIMON Secret Color: There’s only one order that will show the same color on all four cubes. How fast can you unlock the code? The green game is SIMON Classic: Stop shuffling. Start pressing! Can you remember and repeat a longer and longer sequence of colors? Challenge your friends or tune up your skills on your own!
MY THOUGHTS:
I was never really good at the game SIMON but I did like it. I can see though how the game was getting old and needed an update. I love that Hasbro has revamped SIMON for the 21st century. New SIMON Flash includes the standard version plus three other games to challenge you with. Instead of being a big circular disc, SIMON Flash is four small cubes that you maneuver around and then store nicely in the included case! It is a perfect game for on-the-go fun.
Setting up and understand SIMON Flash did take me a few minutes but it is pretty easy to pick up. I like that you move the cubes around to put them in the right order instead of just pushing buttons and that it is so much smaller than the original SIMON. The game though does take eight AAA batteries, which are included luckily. You can play this game too against another person but so far I have just tried it myself.
BUY IT: Look for SIMON Flash for a retail price of $29.99 though Hasbro Games or wherever toys are sold.
