Lindt LINDOR Holiday Truffle Sets {Review}

When I was in college I worked at Borders Books & Music, and along all the registers we had these small chocolate balls of heaven, also known as Lindt Truffles.  They were an impulse buy for some and for others a must-buy treat.  We sold tons of them a day and I honestly bought my fair share each shift I worked.  I used to joke that they could pay me in Lindt truffles and I’d be happy! Well just in time for the holidays, Lindt has come out with new seasonal designs for their exclusive, keepsake gift bags and boxes filled of course with Lindt truffles!

The 2013 Lindt Holiday Collection offers shoppers the choice to “Create Your Own” custom assortments of Lindt Master Chocolatiers 16 flavors of LINDOR truffles in festive bags and boxes.  Yes there are 16 flavors!  Lindt is a gift that will not only surprise people but also treat them!

Lindt has been around since 1845 (yes I wrote 1845) and as the global leader in the premium chocolate category, I’d definitely say they have it right.  I got the chance to check out their Lindt Snowflake Gift Bag, which includes 75 LINDOR truffles all packaged in an adorable felt gift bag.  The bag costs only $25, which for 75 truffles is an amazing deal (that’s only $0.33 a truffle!)  Whether you buy it as a gift, for yourself or to put out in a bowl for your holiday guests, LINDOR truffles are sure to put a smile on anyones face!  I honestly can’t pick a favorite but I can say there hasn’t been a flavor I don’t like!  From the smooth and creamy outside to the melts in your mouth chocolate flavor inside, they are seriously amazing!
