Support Team USA Virtually #ItsOurTime

Unless you lived under a rock, you probably noticed that the 2014 Olympic Winter Games have started.  I admit I haven’t paid much attention to them in the past, but this year feels different.  Maybe because I have kids and I want to teach them about the Olympics or maybe its because I feel like after so much tragedy in the world, the Olympics is something that brings us all together, the 2014 is pretty amazing to watch.  AT&T is a proud sponsor of the U.S. Olympic Team and the U.S. Paralympic Team.

Since we are in the social media age of technology, what better way to celebrate the Olympics than with its own hashtag and app.  The #ItsOurTime campaign not only celebrates the sacrifices made by the Team USA athletes, but it also allows us to show our support virtually!  The athletes are are inspiring, determined and their perseverance deserves our support!

So how does the #ItsOurTime Campaign app work?

• First, download the #ItsOurTime app on either the App Store or Google Play.  Its free of course and in a minute you are ready to go.

• Once you load the app, it is super easy to create your own chant to “U-S-A”!

• It is only a few seconds long and prompts you when to speak, super simple!

• It is a great way to show support for the U.S. Olympic Team who have worked tirelessly to represent our nation, without actually going to Sochi!

• Then your “U-S-A” chant will be added to an interactive wall of support to create a nationwide chant that will be seen digitally and on TV!

Like I said earlier, this year for whatever reason I have been very into the Olympics.  I have watched at least a little bit of the games every day, and I hope to catch up on the games from On Demand through our cable provider.
