    Unless you lived under a rock, you probably noticed that the 2014 Olympic Winter Games have started.  I admit I haven’t paid much attention to them in the past, but this year feels different.  Maybe because I have kids and I want to teach them about the Olympics or maybe its because I feel like after so much tragedy in the world, the Olympics is something that brings us all together, the 2014 is pretty amazing to watch.  AT&T is a proud sponsor of the U.S. Olympic Team and the U.S. Paralympic Team.

    Since we are in the social media age of technology, what better way to celebrate the Olympics than with its own hashtag and app.  The #ItsOurTime campaign not only celebrates the sacrifices made by the Team USA athletes, but it also allows us to show our support virtually!  The athletes are are inspiring, determined and their perseverance deserves our support!

    So how does the #ItsOurTime Campaign app work?

    • First, download the #ItsOurTime app on either the App Store or Google Play.  Its free of course and in a minute you are ready to go.
    • Once you load the app, it is super easy to create your own chant to “U-S-A”!
    • It is only a few seconds long and prompts you when to speak, super simple!
    • It is a great way to show support for the U.S. Olympic Team who have worked tirelessly to represent our nation, without actually going to Sochi!
    • Then your “U-S-A” chant will be added to an interactive wall of support to create a nationwide chant that will be seen digitally and on TV!

    Like I said earlier, this year for whatever reason I have been very into the Olympics.  I have watched at least a little bit of the games every day, and I hope to catch up on the games from On Demand through our cable provider.

      i love watching the bob sledding and the snow boarding always cheering for shaun white and the female skier but she was out because of the knee..not sure of names for them all but always going for the USA

      Meryl and Charlie in Ice Dancing is who I was rooting for. So excited that they won the first gold ever in their sport.

      I really enjoy most of the winter sports. I even got my Hubby to watch the figure skating! And the bobsleigh and luge participants are just nuts! I don’t think I could ever hit the turns at those speeds. The freestyle skiing and snowboard events were great to watch, too. I even think this was the first year that Hubby and I watched the Olympics every night – we just sent everything else to the DVR!

      I always love watching the figure skating. But, I also like watching many of the other events as well. I enjoy the winter sports more than the summer ones.

      I love rooting on any USA team. The kids love watching figure skating, hubby likes hockey and snowboarding, I’ve started getting into curling!

      fav event at the Olympics…Hockey! the USA women’s hockey team come within 1 goal of the gold, but silver ain’t too shabby.

      My favorite winter sport at the Olympics this year is singles ice skating. I am especially rooting for Gracie Gold and Julie Chu on Team USA.

      We’re big hockey fans… so there’s that. I really like luge/skeleton/bobsled and curling. My kids have been all about skiing events, especially the biathlon, which I thought was a little weird.

      I love Noelle Pikus-Pace in the Skeleton! I like watching most/all of the sports but she was the one I was cheering for the loudest!

      My favorite to watch is actually curling… I’ll cheer like its a football game. I love figure skating too when there are really amazing skaters. This year is a good one.

      My favorite this year is one of the new ones – the womens halfpipe. Kaitlyn Farrington of Salt Lake City, Utah took the gold and while watching her it was amazing!

      I am a bobsled fan all the way! It is so exhilarating to watch and I can live through those people. I could never do that which is why I love to watch it so much!

      My favorite athlete is Canadian free skier who win gold. Not sure of his name, but his older brothers name is Frederick and has cerebral palsy and he dedicates his wins to him…he says no one knows my name…I am the Olympic skier with the famous brother, Frederick

      I LoVe the olympics..I figure if the atheletes can spend four years training,.I can devote mmy attention to them. My favorite sport is the new one: SlopeStyle Snowboarding. My new favortie athelte is tt newest and first gold medalist in this discipline: SAGE! He is quite handsome. funny and totoally non-plussed with all the pressure and hoopla! What’s not to love about him? 🙂

      My favorite winter sport is snowboarding and I am rooting for Shaun White. My daughter & foster daughter took up snowboarding years ago as teens and I’ve been in love with watching it since.

      I like snowboarding. I am rooting for the local Jessika Jenson. She placed 5th. Still awesome that she went to the Olympics. She is winner in every Idahoans eyes.

      The winter sports are not my favorite mainly because I am from Florida and I’m not familiar with the winter sports, but I have really enjoyed watching the figure skating and the curling has really grabbed my attention this year. thank you for the chance.
