Blogger Bash 2014 Day 1 Recap #SweetSuite14 #AngryBirdsStella #BBNYC

Last week I trekked to New York City by myself to head to the first Blogger Bash, hopefully the first of many.  It was a big decision for me since my usual friends that I go to blogging conferences with were not going and while I knew a few people that were going to be there, I was still going on my own.

What was the appeal of Blogger Bash for me?

It is not a conference full of sessions, so yeah not one to really learn a lot at but its basically a bunch of brand parties all packed under one room.  For me I like interacting with the different brands and hearing about upcoming products.  So it depends what you are looking for in a conference whether Blogger Bash is for you or not.

So what happened at Blogger Bash?

First off I was a VIP which meant I got to hear from a few fabulous speakers for a few hours before the rest of the bash started.  I got to hear from MZ Wallace, Disney Infinity, LeapFrog, Activision and appearances by the stars of Mob Wives.

Next up was Sweet Suite which is an event that is usually at BlogHer but it was hosted at Blogger Bash this year.  Sweet Suite is usually my favorite event from my time at BlogHer as there are always so many amazing brands, not to mention we usually get a bunch of fun swag sent to us.

The first day ended with an Angry Birds Stella After Party, hosted by Rovio Entertainment Ltd.  Rovio is coming out with a new Angry Birds game featuring Stella bird and Telepods.
